Jamaican born/ Brooklyn bred of Kenyan Ancestry;  Actor, Writer, Director, Comedian.  
 

A scholarship athlete, he came West to attended Film School at Cal St. U Long Beach.  Acting credits from Soaps, Movies to  Sit-coms.  Performed  Stand-up comedy and Co-headlined USO Stand-up Comedy tour in Okinawa & Tokyo, Japan.   
 

The Writer/Artist of  One Man Show on Paul Robeson". Performed in 20 countries on 4 Continents .  Along with his Master-Class on how the Arts forced the world to accept our shared humanity. He has become one of the most requested Pan-African Teaching Artist on the US and Caribbean College Circuit. 
 

He's written  several screenplays & will be directing his passion piece; "Promise of Paradise".  The writer of 2 Novels currently selling on Amazon including the popular urban drama;  "The gods stopped smiling" with a Foreword written by his late mentor Louis Gossett Jr.

 

He appeared in the film "Joseph" about the "African 400 Year of Return."  Shot in Kingston, Jamaica, Cape Coast and  Accra, Ghana, W. Africa.

Married over 27  years to his soul-mate Meechi  who is also his Stage Manager.  He's a Father to son Kahaari Shakoor and  daughter Tunisia Aminah.
